TO SAY I HAD BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS BEAUTIFUL SALAMANDER RESORT WEDDING WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT…I am so excited to finally share with you, Amanda and Michael’s wedding at The Salamander Resort in Middleburg, VA.
These two have such an easy way about them when they’re together and it makes it so easy to celebrate them. They are effortlessly kind, thoughtful, and just so sweet- we had the best time working with them!
There were so many special moments from this day, but one of the theme that shown through everything was the incredible friends they have surrounded themselves with. Amanda and Michael centered their day around their closest friends and family. From their niece performing a special reading to a wedding party full of family members and friends who are like family… it was all just so incredible!

In fact, Amanda and Michael are the epitome of joy and their ceremony will forever go down as one of my all-time favorites. As Amanda made her way up the aisle to Michael with her dad linked in her arm, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Plus, Michael’s reaction to seeing her walk down is pretty much a case study for why doing a first look does not ruin the aisle moment- he was every bit as stunned by her as he was during their first moments together.
One of my favorite moments was when they had their first look of the ceremony space. Amanda wanted a classic look full of black, white, and green accents and hand chose every detail. We worked together alongside Pressed Fig Paperie to design the menus and place cards, and custom signage and escort display by APM Rentals. They were the perfect accents to The Pink Poppy’s stunning floral arrangements, including an epic head table that we will be dreaming about for many years to come!
