“Crabcakes and Football- that’s what Maryland does!” Not only is Wedding Crashers a classic, but part of the movie was filmed right here on the Eastern Shore at Inn at Perry Cabin! Nestled on the banks of the Miles River and a short drive from Washington, DC, Inn at Perry Cabin is a storybook setting for both an intimate wedding ceremony and an epic wedding movie.
The Wedding Crashers reference wasn’t lost on Kelsey and Joe, who planned the perfect micro wedding at sea at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland. Fifteen of their closest family came together and boarded two sailboats and a yacht for an intimate ceremony on Leeds Creek. Before departing, Kelsey and Joe shared a sweet first look along the garden pathway and met their bridal party for a few pictures. Vows were said on the yacht and afterwards, everyone joined for a cocktail hour on the water. Next was a reception at the Cove tent reception space with toasts, a first dance, parents dances and a cake cutting! These two not only were celebrating their marriage but they were also expecting a little one a few months after their big day!
