MK and Luigi’s first meeting was at a bar. Their second? You guessed it—also at a bar! This time, it was after the Nationals had just swept the Cardinals and were heading to the World Series. In the middle of a sea of baseball fans, Mary Kate spotted Luigi. Why? Because he was the bartender who had served her in Arlington just the week before— he definitely made an impression! After celebrating the Nationals’ big win together, Luigi offered her a ride home, and the rest is history. Go Nats!

Now, as every couple knows, sometimes Mother Nature just loves to keep things interesting. On the day of MK and Luigi’s wedding at Shadow Creek, the scene was absolutely perfect—blue skies, rolling hills, and everything you’d want for an outdoor celebration. But then you stepped outside… and Mother Nature had decided to crank up the wind! It added a bit of drama to the day, but in the best possible way. They had to move the ceremony indoors, but it was just as beautiful and allowed MK to wear her veil (and not get completely swept up in the wind)! When Mary Kate walked down the aisle, Luigi was absolutely speechless. Their adorable pup, Enzo, managed to steal the spotlight for a few minutes, and the couple said their “I dos” surrounded by the people they love most.

Once the vows were exchanged, it was time to party! If there’s one thing we know about MK and Luigi, it’s that they are so loved and they LOVE a good party. Speech after speech shared stories of how generous, caring, and downright fun these two are—and, of course, how MK has a secret talent for snagging a few extra French fries when no one’s looking! The dance floor was packed all night long as everyone celebrated the newlyweds- including Luigi breaking it down and The Dougie (pics included!). It was a night full of love, laughter, matching Jordans, and memories that will last a lifetime. We love you, MK and Luigi!
