We’ll take “Adorable Lawyer Couples” for 400, Alex! Jeopardy alum, NYC lawyers, and dog dads, Travis and Jonah, tied the knot this summer at Kent Island Resort and we are still dreaming of their epic wedding weekend! It was truly fate intervening when Travis and Jonah swiped-right on Tinder in 2017- over a decade after they attended Harvard Law School at the same time. They even lived in the same dorm and had friends in common, but never met each other. Fate had other plans!

Their first date was at an Italian restaurant in NYC, where they talked for so long that they closed down the restaurant. There, they both admitted that they had cyber-stalked each other and each already knew that the other had been on Jeopardy! They bonded over their various nerdy hobbies, love of foreign languages, and shared disappointment that “Marven Gardens” is misspelled “Marvin” on the Monopoly board. And from there, the two were inseparable.

Travis popped the question in October 2022, with a little help from their adorable pup, Linus, and a beautiful ring. Jonah reciprocated by offering Travis the only ring he had in his possession at the time: an onion ring. With a love story for the ages, we were so honored to help J + T plan their wedding weekend, complete with a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, reception, after party, and farewell brunch. Needless to say, their guests partied HARD. We incorporated elements of the couples favorite things, crabs, the Eastern Shore, and of course, their dog Linus, creating a cohesive and honestly one huge party that their guests will remember for years to come!
